For many years now I’ve been disappointed with traditional healthcare, as it often results in a drug prescription to mask a problem and manage symptoms, while ignoring the root of the problem. This observation led me to my long time interest in wellness and alternative approaches to health. As a society we are facing epidemic levels of disease, many of which are preventable. As easy as it is to default to a quick fix, its effect can be detrimental.
When I learned of chiropractic, it’s philosophy resonated with me. Working in the field of chiropractic for seven years (Maedke Chiropractic for five of those seven years) is beneficial and refreshing. Not only does it align with my personal philosophy of preventative healthcare, it has connected me with a diverse holistic community my family benefits from.
I have a deep appreciation specific to Maedke Chiropractic Center, as it is an establishment that is supportive of working women! As any working mother knows, the challenges we face are monumental. Dr. Maedke made it possible for me to take both of my children to work with me until they were seven months old, and for this, I will be forever grateful.
I feel honored to be a part of "true" healthcare at a progressive and diverse clinic. My hope for anyone in search of chiropractic is that they land at Maedke Chiropractic Center.
